Charging for photo shoots?
Let me first clarify that this IS NOT FOR OTAKON.
This is just something I had been thinking about the past couple days. As I’m taking on more and more shoots, I’ve been thinking about beginning to charge for them? I would obviously do a lot of research before hand to be able to come up with reasonable prices that would still turn a profit but that just about anyone would be able to afford. I’ve also been thinking about offering packages for printed photos, since I’ve seen around tumblr that some people like having the physical photos along with a digital file.
But what I want to hear from my followers is would people still be interested in asking me to be a photographer if I started charging?
Kacie is MORE than worth any price she may charge — she is insanely talented with that camera of hers. If you don’t believe me, just flip through her blog! She will make you look and feel beautiful. c:
That being said, Kacie I think this would be a great idea. You work hard enough on your photography at these cons, and the idea of offering physical copies of the photos is neat too!
